2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

smiley - puff Its difficult and tiring this being a field researcher for the guide.... More research tommorrow ... with the person mentioned in my last journal entry, for the guide entry I'm working on, which may or may not be winging its way to PR if I deem it suitable and not too.... er unsuitable... smiley - footinmouthsmiley - handcuffssmiley - cupcakesmiley - loveblushsmiley - angel
Still need to finalise the list of 'food' to use in the experimentation tommorrow... Well at least I've now rules out chilies, that was one bad idea... But, then again, in true scientific investigation, I'd not have known had I not experimented with it smiley - snorksmiley - wahsmiley - angelsmiley - bubbly

Hold o n! Don't rule out chillies yet! Habaneros may be overdoing it, but I hear a bit of chili in massage oil makes - er - a difference if applied to certain bodyparts...

No.
I refuse* to ever consider... well... hmmm.... there was a certain* point on the 'come down' from the sheer 'pain' of the chilie peppers, which was a kinda pleasuriable pain... but it took a logn while to get 'down' to that point... the pain really was very resiant to go away smiley - laughsmiley - drool ooo maybe I could use chilli oil... or jerk chilli seasoning... or ... hmmm.... Wahtever I decide isn't going to work out well is it? smiley - snorksmiley - handcuffs
I've probably nearly got enough 'results' now to start writing this guide entry... of course, in writing it, I may find additional reasearch that needs to be performed smiley - blushsmiley - hotdogsmiley - corncobsmiley - pandasmiley - porkpie

I'm kinda confused by that last set of smilies, 2legs. Are you hinting at cajun corn-battered pandas?

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I have chopped chillies and then scratched/rubbed my eye. It hurts.
I've also chopped chillies and then insufficiently washed my hands before wondering off to the bathroom for a pee. That hurts also.
I've also now*, recently experimented with the application of fresh chillies direct to certain parts of ones own anatomy. It really* hurts... for ages... smiley - blushsmiley - snork
Chilli massage oil ... as I say, I've a bottle of chilli oil in the kitchen, would that not be about the same thing? smiley - snork
Anyhow....
From my experimentation and deatailed scientific research thus far, I'm tempted to move away from the more dangerous food-sorts, like chillies... things like custard, cream, champaign cucumber and suchlike all work well enough without any of the long-lasting pain inducing effects of something like chillies smiley - snorksmiley - angel

Oh, and the run of unusual smileys... was just for fun smiley - angelsmiley - hotdogsmiley - corncobsmiley - dogsmiley - burgersmiley - cat cupcake>

Whatever you do, do not use a cheese grater to releive the pain, as a charactar in Tom Sharpe's 'The Throwback' did.......

Even* I would realise that were a bad idea; I helped aleviate the pain by use of body lotions and water.... the capepsin in chillies is fat soluable not* water soluable... so the body lotion has lipids/fat in it... then rinse that off with water... smiley - ermsmiley - blush Probably could have used olive oil actually... smiley - doh

Ah, yes, spelling... smiley - erm

What usually happens to me is I look in the dictionary to find out how a certain word is spelled, but as I don't know how to spell it I can't find it smiley - wah
