Have you considered asking, "Why the socks?" Or would that spoil the mystery?

In my experience, some men just dont understand the problem with the socks. I had one partner who just didn't understand it, he was more comfortable with his socks on and that was it. He hung around plenty and certainly wasn't up and out the door in seconds.

It was still weird and I still felt like it was a real emotional barrier taking physical form.

Tis weird innit? I won't be seeing him now for quite some time as he left this morning for Barcelona potentially until September
