Thanks. In the meantime I'm trying to finish up what I've got left in the first one and made some Jack-'O-Lanterns of comic book superheroes for Halloween. How are you guys doing?

Yup. Well got into the new school without too much extra grief but my dad is still up to his old tricks. He especially is displeased with that I have a girlfriend now. What's funny though is when I was dating models he complained they were too stupid. My current girlfriend is a nerd who is chinese-american and he's whining to me that he thinks she is "too ugly" smiley - rolleyes I thanked him smiley - sigh for his opinion and then proceeded to tell him that that being said he wasn't the one going out with her and I wasn't trying to set her up with him so he should get over it. Also that personally I thought she was smart and cute. Also though it's probably a little too much information that she's downright cuddly like a little panda. He's still processing it. smiley - erm Or trying to tune it out as loudly and out of tune/offkey as he can. smiley - rofl

Thanks Tav. Thanks Dmitri. The good news is her mom thinks I'm okay. It was unfortunate that before her parents had a chance to meet me her brat of a sister told them I was dumber than a fencepost and more recently insulted my baking (I'm sorry they weren't b*tch flavored smiley - rolleyessmiley - rofl)... however that didn't stop her from finishing off the rest of the tray as quickly as she could. Those weren't for her those were for my girlfriend. smiley - steam

I told my girlfriend, yeah I get your sister doesn't like me but guess what, I'm not trying to go out with her so I don't care what she thinks... what should matter to you more is what you think about me and if your parents can stand me. I mean, she isn't in charge of who it is you date, is she?

She didn't really answer me but did give me a rather tight hug so I guess that's a yes. smiley - laugh

Then she told me smiley - wah how her sister ate all her chocolate.
My solution smiley - evilgrin: Leave some chocolax out where she usually keeps her chocolate candy. That'd make stealing sweets less... smiley - erm sweet.

Hey, Thorn. Your girlfriend sounds really nice and well her little sister is just doing the annoying little sister routine she no doubt learned from watching awful American sitcoms. Don't take her all that seriously. How long has her family been in America?smiley - smiley

Maybe bake a small amount of something really awful and put it where her sister would eat it? Something with loads of salt maybe? smiley - winkeye
(but tell your girlfriend in advance)

I'm not sure how long her family has been here but I'm pretty sure she and her sister were born here so maybe the parents have been here for at least two and a half decades or possibly three. Yeah I'm not overly worried about the sister, or her father... or my father but I am kind of worried about balancing the work/school/leisure ... the time management side of things. smiley - erm That. smiley - laughsmiley - laugh
