Thanks Elektra! That is fascinating indeed. But I'm not much surprised. So far evolutionary biologists haven't much considered the contribution of behaviour to evolution. I'd go as far to say that *culture* is involved. Here, some birds segregate themselves from others by adopting a different culture ... which causes a change to the evolutionary pressures shaping them.
