did you write h2g2 entry in wikipedia? I hope so!

I am asking, because I am the founder of united friends of h2g2 A703126. united friends is currently one of the biggest clubs / communities within h2g2 with more than 400 united friends and is a bit more than 3 years old. it is one of best showcases of h2g2 friendliness! at least I hope!

I am trying to make a united friendly, but I confess a plugging request if you could be so nice to add us to wikipedia!?

united friends is regular on the frontage's "5 Busiest Conversations".

every united friend gets a credit for joining by adding their name on the "Written and Researched by:" list, which has more than 400 names and makes probably the longest "Written and Researched by:" list.

Hi Pheloxi.

The h2g2 article at Wikipedia was already there when I signed up, with Lucinda/MyRedDice/Martin having already made some contributions, but I wrote some of what's there now. I can certainly add United Friends to the article, although due to the nature of Wikipedia, so could anyone.

Do you have a particular way you'd like United Friends to be described? How would you answer the question "what is United Friends of h2g2?"?

a description that is tough for me, but something like this...

united friends is a club / community where every one can meet to help or laugh or play games to celebrate the spirit of friendliness h2g2.

the idea comes from if some one makes journal were he or she is feeling bad a lot of researchers have something supporting to say, but if some one posted a good happing a lot of researcher have celebration.

another inspiration is Galaxy Babes thread for h2g2 romances F43348?thread=151305 which led to page with h2g2 romances A827237

the thread is may be not something to link, because there is a lot other things mentioned, all tho that is h2g2 too.

do you think you can make something from my typing into something reasonable English? I am Dutch so English is not my first language.
