"Welcome to the Hospital Wing of the H²G² Leauge of Super Powers! Please state the nature of your medical emergancy."
In this place is an impressive example of the finest medical equipment known to man and mutant alike. A feeling of safety and goodwill fills the place, but the "Get Well Soon, Superheroes," cards sent in by a local kindergarden and preschool center don't really help at all.
For when medical personell are swamped there is a fully-equipped EMH (Emergancy Medical Hologram) Nurse who, while not being as good as the real thing, may still save the life of a fallen hero in a crisis.
There is also a nice coffee machine, tea synthesizer that actually WORKS and a supply of magic chocolate that tastes just like Hershey's milk chocolate but has no sugar and is safe to eat even if you're lactose-intolerant or diabetic, among other wonders of technology.
A plauque on the wall reads:
"The Hippocratic Oath:
'I swear by Apollo the Physician...'
The ancient Hippocratic Oath is a guiding principle in the medical profession. Doctors who have sworn to abide by this ancient oath written by Hippocrates are called 'hippocrates' or 'hippies' for short.

"
Get well soon!

howdy there!
say, you know this hospital wing is equipped with an EMH?
(EMH: Emergancy Medical Hologram, like from Star Trek, a holographic doctor who can fill in as extra medical staff in an emergancy, or anytime if you like ... I thought it was a good idea, (stolen from Star Trek) but it's yours now ... take good care of it ... or just never turn it on and throw it in the garbage, whatever you want.
I see you just joined my RPG! ...
So ...
What's up Doc?
always wanted to say that

*greets medic in residence and shows her to her office and official biscuit cupboard with heavy-duty padlock.*
make yourself at home. and welcome to the League.

Lash LeRue Posted Nov 2, 2005
Is a heavy duty padlock really enough to keep super hero's out of the biscuits?
*Spends the next few minutes furiously wrestling with the lock*

The Hospital Wing
Lash LeRue Posted Nov 4, 2005

er ... "biscuits" without chocolate chips are called cookies as well in the US ... now I'm getting really confused
The Hospital Wing
cupati Posted Nov 8, 2005
I'd only refer to a buiscuit as a cookie if it had cocolate or other chips in it.
