Thanks for the visit, and don't worry, I have this skill of saying the wrong thing at the right time. Sorry i wasn't the right Steve, I promise I'll try harder next time.
Thanks for the advice

Next time? Something I've noticed about "Steves" in general is that they each have this aura about them. Call it bravado, call it hubris, call it obnoxiousness, there's just something about a Steve. They all think they're God's gift to women, the law, and the movies.
Steve McQueen is a great example of my nascent theory.

Well Steve, nice to see you here at last. I would have been by earlier, but first there was the server upgrade and now my internet connection's running slower than a dead snail, so it's not been easy getting this far. But I have done.
Glad to see you appear to be settling in nicely. GuideML certainly seems to prove no problem to you - or are you cheating and using HTML?
Now who do you think will be the next person to sign up? We've got you and Cass so far...

God's gift to women? I don't think so, even I've learnt that I'm not that
Now Gods gift to the law is another matter, my hero is a cross between Judge Dredd and The Sweeney (a british TV series)

Me, cheat, I'm hurt you would think such a thing
Of course I cheated, but I promise I'll learn GML by the weekend, honest

As far as women go, results among individual Steves do vary!
Judge Dredd? Surely not that Sylvester Stallone crap--, ahem, movie?

Steve Posted Nov 10, 2000
No, not the Stallone crap, the proper, 200 AD comic version of Dredd. Stallone took a good idea and repeatedly smashed it into the ground, until it didn't resemble the "original" story line
Ok, whinging over now,

*humbled* Oh. You're talking to the wrong gal then, I don't know comics from a hole in the ground. Which, incidentally I think they should all be thrown into and covered up with a lot of dirt, bricks, and concrete.

I used to think that, but then I learned to get a more open mind.
Still, I'd much rather read Wheel of Time.
