Yep. Hoggetts have had a couple of microbursts - that's probably close to what you get. They form and break up quickly in mountainous areas.

Typhoons/Hurricanes/Cyclones/ etc etc in different countries have "names" given.

OUR lot got jealous smiley - laughand started to give "mere" storms a name smiley - doh

The first one named a few year back was called Doris!
HOW the hell can a storm called Doris instil fear into what's coming ???
