I have 3 classes of what I call "mate"

No1- someone you know/n, maybe for many years - but just a mate
No2- a mate of a mate - still just a mate
No3- someone you've known for ages or just "recently" met, but! this 3rd mate is the only one that will appear by your side when you shout HELP! without asking why
