DG's Time Travel Journal Day 13: With a Little Help from The Friends
KB Posted Nov 14, 2013
Now that we have got the obligatory oats jokes out of the way, I'm thinking about my personal experiences with them. There's a bravery there that most of us, here, can't come close to. The bravery to not lift the gun when it seems like the obvious solution to the problem at hand, for example.
In my country, when people were starving to death, some people said things like "if you change your religion, I'll give you a bowl of soup". The Friends on the other hand said "You're hungry. Have a bowl of soup!"

It certainly one of the most open religions, in that they don't care what religion you are, they'll help you regardless with no expectations back.

That's beautifully put, KB. Thanks for that!
Trying to make that clear to my Christian friends is sometimes hard.
