Nightclubs
I hate nightclubs, I do I really really hate them, they're crap. Yet every Friday night I find myself inside one taking part in the bizarre British mating ritual of "pulling". I believe that this activity is, essentially, an excersise in developing latent telepathy. Because this is the only way you will be able to tell the difference between someone who is seriously interested in the colour of your underwear, and say, someone is is mearly dancing next to you.
I also think that nightclubs are really a secret government experiment to prepare the young for being old (not mum and dad old mind, but real bloke in the dicovery channel ad old). Lets look at the facts, when a young healthy 18-25 year old is in "club" (some of you may wonder what a club is, you may call it a "disco" if so how are the kids?) the following will happen, You won't be able to hear anything unless someone screams it at you, even then there is a 65% chance you'll misunderstand, all the noise, flashing lights, alcohol and .....stuff will have an anathetic effect on your brain leaving you with the mental dexterity of an infant, and finally you may not make it to the toilet in time (you find in in time of course its just that there'll be a queue of a size rarely seen outside of Russia)
