I was moseying around the Postcrossing site and came accross someone called Pink Paisley... are you by any chance related?

Could be, could be. Who's asking? There's no Sho (leastways not on the UK list) over there at postcrossing. Not that I'd know of course because I've never even heard of postcrossing have I!
I hear on the grapevine that there is also a PinkPaisley on the Geocaching site too.
People who use the screen name Pink Paisley are well known for being adictive personallities who are easily led into any obsessive activity like sending postcards to strangers, looking for tupperware hidden in the woods or posting comments to slightly left field commumity discussion boards.
And what is it with those Finns? I got 5 postings from them yesterday including an envelope containing 3 cards. 7 cards in one day from Finland! They've got it bad.
Ok, ok. I confess. It's me.
Who are you then?
Robin.

I'm Sho - but I'm not in the UK I'm in Germany which is why you can't find me.
But Finland and postcards - what is it with them?? I've received over 200 cards and I guess about half are from there and I've sent a load there too.
So tell me... how did you find Postcrossing? (hopefully you'll now say "why, Sho, via your rather excellent h2g2 entry about it..."

Well Sho,
I found postcrossing through your rather excelent H2G2 entry about it.

No actually that's a lie.
I found it the same day as I had been discussing postcards with my mother. She said that people don't send cards any more. Within a couple of hours, I had read an article in my newspaper. A couple of hours later I had sent my first postcard.
So sorry, it wasn't your entry which seems to cover all bases.
It does look like you need to update it a little though. You were clearly an early postcrosser. It has really taken off since then.
We haven't exchanged cards have we.
I have one waiting here for you but just don't have your address.
Robin.

Many happy returns for tomorrow.
I'll have a look at editing when I get back from Prague. Flying out today. I'll wave as I pass overhead. Look out for me, I'll be in a purple aeroplane. (Yes really - purple!)
