Instant improvement, great work.
I would say, bear in mind than not everyone uses the same skin to view pages that you do. I use "Classic Goo" which has a dark blue background. It makes the red and green lettering at that size somewhat difficult to read. Maybe I'm just an old whinging Pom and need stronger glasses!!

I'll take a look at that colour for you
I live in New Zealand now. It rains a lot and the shopping sucks, but it's ok.

Hi Bassman
I decided not to change the colour, sorry!
If I use a lighter colour it's harder to see in Brunel or Alabaster, and the pictures are in the right place in Brunel.
Thanks for the tip anyway

That's OK.
I shan't throw my teddy out of the cot if you don't want to change, it was just a polite suggestion
So what's so bad about the shopping in NZ? Or put another way - what's so great about the shopping in Oz?

Everything here (NZ)is more expensive like $40 for a DVD instead of $30. There aren't as many shops that sell everything, like cheaper DVDs and stuff (there's Target, Myers, Kmart in Oz, only Kmart here, and only one in Hamilton and it's no good) - if you want something you have to go to a CD shop. All the clothes shops sell the stuff that only anorexic 12 year olds can wear. In Oz, at least in Brissy, I had a whole heap of great shops - it took me years to find them and now I'm stuck in Hamilton, NZ. You've probably never heard of it, but even the other NZers make fun of Hamilton. It's got 100 000 people, but there's only the 'city' and one shopping mall, and both are tiny compared to Oz. It's got ONE CD shop that's any good (ie doesn't sell boring pop rock that everyone listens to) no clothes shops I'd even bother with, except that CD shop's got cool Tshirts. So, I've got one shop I'd go out of my way to go to, compared with having maybe 1/2 dozen major shopping centres and the city in Oz within reach. I've only been up to Auckland once since I got here, but maybe I'll find some decent shops there.
Thanks for listening to my rant!
It's a matter of what you're used to I suppose. If I was used to living in Sydney or London or somewhere, then I moved to Brisbane I'd probably feel just as bored.

I've lived in several different parts of the UK, for a while, just outside Swindon, which was quite a bubbling metropolis. If I couldn't find something there, Bristol was only a short hop down the motorway. Then I got moved to the very North of Scotland (I used to be in the RAF) there weren't any decent shops for miles and miles....
When my (ex) wife had our first kid, she got rushed across to Aberdeen - 80 miles away. When I had to go and visit it was a 160 mile round trip - deep joy - until they let her out.
