Dmitri Gheorgheni - Not Banned in China

Thought we could use a thread to touch base.

You wrote a page for this? Great!smiley - biggrin

Kyra

It's in word at the moment, I was just going to put it in a post, but, actually that's a good idea

smiley - run to make a page

smiley - ok I have to make a page on Gaels for Mala later, too.

And when we've done it in the plot, I'll link it to the Beta homepage. I link everything, then the lurkers can read it all...smiley - winkeye

Plus, lazy participants who find blog an annoyance...

Absolutely not - I won't read it until you post the link in the story.

More fun that way...smiley - winkeye

I'm not into omniscient, and try to avoid mind-reading, except for Schroedinger.

Ooh good, I'm just planning to do a nightmare scene if that's ok?

The Feud with Kyra

Post 9

Kyra

Actually I'll skip the nightmare, don't want anyone to feel too sorry for me!

smiley - biggrin No, do it - it sounds good.

Here's what I'm thinking. There's a scene I need to do with Sharpe - then Jamie will go and find you. He has things to say.

Will that work?

So do your nightmare scene while I do the one with Sharpe.

And I hope you got to work on time.

smiley - laugh No, actually, I was later than usual, but they're used to that.

I can do the nightmare scene another time. I have a whole heap of demons and history to play with for Kyra smiley - evilgrin This thing goes even deeper than it seems. If we can keep this feud lasting a while, I can bring up little pieces of Kyra's past, and you can do the same for Jamie. They'll probably eventually meet...

Dmitri Gheorgheni - Not Banned in China

smiley - biggrin Well, if it wasn't unusual...smiley - winkeye

Okay. Jamie's day is not starting well. The only thing to keep in mind is that Jamie can't feud with a human the way a human would expect him to - because he's not human, and his reactions are completely different.

He can't hate. And he can't lie. And he can't go for cheap absolution.

I don't know where this will go - but it will be interesting.

And you're right - they could do each other a lot of good.smiley - smiley

Where do you want her to be when Jamie gets free of the Captain?

The Feud with Kyra

Post 13

Kyra

I thought maybe the Aboretum or the swimming pools, but we need somewhere fairly "private"

Go to the officers' swimming pool - Kyra's a rogue, anyway, and there's nobody there - since I haven't seen Santos about yet - and if the mad Spaniard shows up, we will deal with 'heem'.smiley - winkeye

I can get Sharpe to send Jamie there - and there's a lounge area.

The Feud with Kyra

Post 15

Kyra

So if Jamie can't get mad, what is he planning? smiley - yikes This will be interesting.

With Kyra, she feels guilty about shipping Gaels, but she feels just as guilty or more-so for getting her crew killed (I'm planning to make it that she lived with them from an early age, so they were her family and her closest friends). So she feels like she pretty much deserves whatever is coming, but cos she feels just as guilty for the smugglers as for the Gaels, that should make Jamie even madder smiley - erm Did that make sense?

Dmitri Gheorgheni - Not Banned in China

Oh, yes - you have no idea. Yesteday, Mala and I were discussing the same stuff on a RL history level - I was born in the American South, and I'm older than dirt, you know - when I was a child, it was before Civil Rights. And Mala's German - we both know exactly how conflicted people can be. You love people, but they're wrong, wrong, wrong.

But Jamie doesn't get 'mad' in the same way - that's what makes making up Gaels worthwhile. It's a new approach.

Anyway, practically the whole crew is up and doing smiley - biggrin - Sharpe's out of the way at the moment, since Elektra has just put on a coat and gone to take Ariel walkies.

Let's do this before they *all* come to the pool for a repeat of 'fun and games' from the other day. Celva and her bikini...smiley - winkeye

Dmitri Gheorgheni - Not Banned in China

No, it didn't. If you want it to last, don't escalate too hard. Let it go up, and down. They have to know each other better before it can get interesting. Otherwise, there's not enough interface.

Think of 'Buffy' and Spike...it has to go on a longer vector, or it'll be a one-off thing.
