h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

How do you like my highly original subject? I've added you to my friends list after having a bit of a squiz at your page. I'm a relative youngster on h2g2 because generally I'm a bit of a lurker.

I also like Johnny Depp. One of my favourite films is The Man Who Cried. That quiz on your page claims I'm also Edward Scissorhands, but I seem to be a little less messed up the head than yourself.

I'm an Australian currently living in Australia, but I'm moving to Estonia soon.

The Man Who Cried is one of my least favourites, actually . He was good in it but I didn't really like the rest of the movie. I still bought it though I think I have 16 of his movies on DVD

I The Brave and Dead Man cos I love Native American stuff anyway, and he's really good in them.

Where in Australia are you? I miss it there, I can't wait to go back.

I'm not a "true fan" of Johnny Depp as you are. I haven't seen all of his films. I agree with you on Dead Man though.

I went to Estonia a couple of months ago and I like the place. It's close to Finland, which is my favourite country in the world, but it's cheaper and I have friends there. Life gets boring if you stay in the same place and do the same thing your whole life, so I'm moving.

Good reason! I'd love to travel but I want to come home to Australia, probably either Brisbane or the Gold Coast hinterland near Brisbane.

I haven't seen all Johnny Depp's films either, but I want to! The ones I need are really hard to find in New Zealand (at least in Hamilton), and some are only available in America.

Do you like Fear and Loathing? There's a new movie in production starring Johnny Depp called the Rum Diary, which is a book written by Hunter S Thompson, so I'm looking forward to seeing that! I bet it'll be great!

Speaking of Finland, do you know the band H.I.M.? They're Finish, and my favourite band.

I don't know H.I.M., although I may have heard them if they're on Finnish radio. I'm assuming they sing in English not Finnish?

I just listened to some. Not bad. I'll probably hear more of them when I'm over there.

Don't shoot me, but I haven't seen Fear and Loathing in LV. It's one of the two major Gilliam films I haven't seen, but it's about 12 down my "want to see" list (which is pretty close to the top). I feel a bit guilty for not having seen it now, so it's just jumped a few places.

I used to flat with a girl from Hamilton. Brisbane is good. Central Qld is where I'm from originally.
