I couldn't find any reference, direct or indirect, to my entry in that article. In fact, the article is better researched and better written than mine. However, it is annoying to read that the BBC "had not even heard of" Dinner for One as late as last New Year, when the BBC has been displaying this entry since 2004!!! In fact, I think I found an article on the BBC News site while I was researching (may have been the Guardian, though)

Oh right - yeah, maybe a citation is the wrong word. But you've been linked to from the word "BBC" about halfway down the page.

Oh yes - so it is. How exciting !!!
And I have also noticed that the Guardian article I was talking about further up this thread is linked in the entry.
I actually watched the sketch last New Year's Eve. I don't think I'd watched it for years (not even when writing the entry - naughty, naughty!) There are a few gems, such as where Freddie Frinton is "called back" by Sir Toby, and made to pour a few more drops into his glass. Of course, as Sir Toby is not there, this is all the butler's doing!
Key: Complain about this post
