Only ONE sweet moment?

That's what I've been wondering. It seems to apply fairly accurately. I'm still trying to work out if I blinked and missed it or if it's still ahead of me, though, too.
P.S. It's a line from a Queen song. (Who wants to live forever?)

And there I was congratulating myself on getting the sugar levels down a bit I didn't recognise the quote
Only ONE sweet moment?

Nor did I.
Nor would I, for I could not source any memories of Queen lyrics beyond the line 'Weird are the champions' and then only because it seems to be popular with mindless drunken hooligans at sporting events.
To both of you however I must offer mildly patronising admonishments to avoid putting your eggs in any one sweet momentary basket. In spite of any and all literary and filmic narratives to the contrary there are no real solitary life defining moments. Life is change and ever changing.
Moments are successive and they continue apace whether we will or nay. Sweetness is a function of taste receptors. Times may be dark or bright or even, yes, sweet; but darkness and brightness and sweetness come and go and will always come again. It would be folly to assume otherwise.

Maybe we can modify it to read "several sweet seconds" - some of them shared even with people here in this very thread.
