Goodbye lump
nortirascal Posted Oct 26, 2007
I am rather tempted to think of the epitaph on comedian Spike Milligan's gravestone - "See, I told you I was ill".

That conjours up images of Richard Burton in the film 'Where Eagles dare"!
"Hello Broadsword, This is Danny-Boy, Are you Receiving? Broadsword, Broadsword,This is Danny-Boy, Are you Receiving?"
Not quite the same...
And I think Mal gets more than enough lumps at the weekend, without needing permanent ones!

If so we have a deal...

Oh, right, like people would want to see me in a bikini. Well, it would detract from the lump on my neck...

Oh, a quick update I forgot to post...
I went to see my GP again on Monday to get a sick note for the last two weeks, and she said that from what she'd seen, she was expecting me to have had surgery and be starting chemo by now She says that the fact that they've found nothing is a very good sign, and I should have some - so, all round!

Right, been to the hospital again this morning. Looks like they will surgically remove one of the lumps, in the second week of December
Simply because they can't figure out anything else to do with them!

Sort of experimenting? We'll take it out and see what happens??

Exactly. It isn't going away by itself, and they're not finding any symptoms, so they decided they'll just go look at it

Honestly, I hope it all goes ok and they can figure out what it is so they can stop prodding and poking you around unless its necessary!

Well, if my head falls off I can buy one of these to use instead. http://www.amazon.com/Tiki-Head-Tissue-Box-Cover/dp/B0007U8MSA/ref=pd_sim_gf_title_4
Maybe they just like to poke me, who knows.
