h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've had this lump in my neck for a month now, and it's grown to the size of a walnut - and the s still haven't figured out what it is, nor the other lumps growing on the back of my head... Though I just assume I'm growing extra brains, one can never have too many!

(I know, I know, the last journal entry was of a medical nature, too, I really ought to find something else to write about)

Hopefully, they'll figure that out today, I have a hospital appointment this afternoon. It's not certain they'll keep me there yet, but if they do, I'll be in for a week so they can take it out and probably spend some time prodding me. (A hootoo-less, internet-less week! The horror!) Just in case anyone wonders where I've gone, I'm not ignoring everyone out of rudeness

They kicked me out again for now, after much poking and prodding - but they want me back tomorrow morning for more poking and prodding At least they seem a lot more competent than the ones in Göttingen and they say it's unlikely to be a tumour.

Yes, it's a rather nice feeling Though they had a student there who refused to try to take my blood, she said the previous two patients she tried it on had fainted So they just set a on me.
