No, it's coins and bills, although I never take € bills when going to London, a few coins to pay for my bus ticket when I'm back here are sufficient.

You can't go far for $ 5 with a bus in London.

Incidentally, coins are minted by each country in the Eurozone, and each decides what picture to put on one side. The harp on the 1 cent in Bel's picture is Irish, but I think the eagle on the €1 is German.

Yes, the ugly eagle is German, I was surprised it said the coins were Irish.

In the U.S., quarters have different designs on one side. Each of the 50 states gets to pick a design for that side.
