Thought you'd like that.
Been quite a bit more uncomfortable today, as all the anaesthetic has worn off. Taking a few ibuprofen, but would soner do without 'cos they rot your guts.
Think I'll crack on with the DIY project tomorrow to take my mind off it.
Ciao fer Now!
JT
PS - are you a real rev?

Not been squeaking - just getting on with DIY projects.
Second day back at work today.
Most of the swelling and bruising has gone down now, but still quite uncomfortable where healing still taking place.
Some stitches have come out, but still can't retract to clean underneath without risking splitting the raw bits.
A little concerned about some discharge and discomfort from under the skin where I can't get to yet. Could this be infection, or is it normal?
Thinking of seeing the doc about it, although I was told it would be uncomfortable for about two weeks.

Got an appointment for this afternoon.
Spoke to the guy who assisted at the op and he reckons there is some infection, so the doc's job is more of a formality to prescribe some antibiotics.
Would have gone yesterday, but the hydraulics gave out on my clutch, so prioritised my day for me.

Thanks for asking.
Got Man Flu
On the upside though, the antibiotics seem to be working and the infection is reducing. Two more days of the course to take.
Still one major stitch that shows no sign of disolving yet, but at least I can walk normally when wearing trousers now!
Most of the swelling has gone, except for the last bit to heal where the edges of the skin had not knitted together.
Hope all's well with you and yours?

Sorry Jack
Been up to my eyes in it lately and online hardly at all.
The missus ended up in hospital for tests last week after a funny turn made her pass out for about a minute.
Luckily she was with friends.
Blitzing into the DIY project now, as it fell behind schedule a bit and MUST be finished by the end of May. Back on track now though.
Mr wiggly's doing well - healed up nicely and infection seems to have gone.
Thanks again for all your advice and support - I know it made a difference.
