Is there such as a thing as a "mountain wheelchair", with thick tyres like a mountain bike?

I've spotted a typo:

This a tiny circle --> This is a tiny circle

There are Beach Wheelchairs with thick rubber wheels, but I've not tried one - there may well be mountain wheelchairs, too!

I used to have indoor tyres with no tread, which were absolutely useless in the winter of 2003 or so when it snowed... I don't know why the wheelchair manufacturer didn't offer me outdoor ones, but that year I met a fellow wheelchair user at university who had been given Schwalbe Marathon tyres so I've been using them ever since - good indoor and outdoor, so they are 'hybrid' smiley - ok

The thicker the tread and the better the grip, the more work it is to move along the level, as the tyres absorb a lot of energy. A thin hard tyre is a lot easier to push along on the level.

Yes, hybrid tyres definitely give me the best of both worlds - not too sticky indoors and not too slippy outdoors smiley - ok

Yes, sorry for not being able to sort this out sooner - I've applied the photos now, corrected the typo and added some links.

It's ready for you to check and let me know if there is anything you'd like changing before it goes to the next stage smiley - ok
