An Orange And Two Lemons
Posted Feb 6, 2011
So a new h2g2 this year. Too many threads to follow the full story. I wish all threads could be kept together in some sort of organised way but I have come to realise Resistance is Useless.
There is a magic about h2g2 that keeps one here for no obvious reason. No one can describe what h2g2 is or what it is like becauase whatever it is hasn't been invented yet.

Low Energy Light Bulb Life Spans
Posted Dec 28, 2009
These new fangled low energy light bulbs are supposed to last 12 years. No one could argue with this at first as they hadn't been around for 12 years to prove the case. Whenever I have mentioned it to anyone else the general consensus is that I must be a witch as lightbulbs do survive 12 years outside of my home. So I have decided to keep a log of how long mine last, and I have used well known brands of light bulbs.
