Sorry to contact you this way but having a load of trouble getting onto the site, plus wife ill, her sister died just after Christmas and before all this I was trying to finish writing one of the books in my language dissection of English (It was volume 5, which is in fact 8 as volumes 1, 2 and 4 are composed of parts A&B). Along with all this my brother had a growth on his pancreas and his wife followed him into hospital, while I was writing the said book and now my cousin's daughter is in hospital with pancreatitis (confused? You should watch the old TV series 'Soap'or follow my life).
I would say to cut a long story short but I haven't. All you need is love but not Lovecraft, so the entry had to go. You can shift it to the junk pile or try to persuade me to carry on now the various storms have passed but I have had an awful period as you can see and am feeling a little down (it's on the chicken I just strangled out of frustration). By the way are you still seeking jokes for your collection? Here's one 'I have a small, amphibious pet - in fact people call him my newt.'

Good to see you back on h2g2, though I'm sorry to hear about everything that has been going on – of course writing about Lovecraft and birds has to take a back-seat when that is going on as you have to concentrate on family.
I'll leave all your entries in Peer Review for another month, which gives you some time to decide whether you want to carry on with them or not. If we don't hear from you by then they may be moved to <./>writing-Fleamarket</.>, where they can be continued by other people, unless you inform us that you either do not want anyone else to do so.
That's a good joke – there's no ambivalence, it's the best amphibian joke I've heard this year.

(Conversation moved as I spent ages trying to remember where it was...)

Have you changed your mind about finishing the entries on Lovecraft and birds, or shall we move them into the Writing-FleaMarket until you are able to resume pursuing them or someone offers to help complete them?
Bluebottle Posted Oct 4, 2019
If I don't hear back from you in the next fortnight, shall I assume that you're not working on the four entries (Lovecraft and three birds) and put them into the Flea Market? You will be able to remove them and return them to Peer Review when you are able to spend time with them at any time.

Yes stick them in the flea market. On top of everything I posted in June, we have now sold the house and are staying with a friend until we can buy a new place of our own. It is like we have been living in a quake zone recently and the house sale, packing and looking for a future residence has only added to our woes and stress levels as Dmitri and friends on another site I vist, have been made painfully aware of.
