Hey Paige, I have a problem with nationalizing wildlife.

This site is for the Earth and not necessarily just the UK. So as we have many members in other parts of the world, can we avoid chauvinism by not calling them 'British' birds, besides does that mean that they are NOT found in Wales or Scotland? Nature is smart enough to avoid national divisions, and I don't think the creatures would think more highly of themselves if they were born in the UK.

Sorry but Part 1 accidentally ended up in Writing Workshop (my first attempt at an entry) and this includes almost exclusively Scottish game birds and predators, a lot of which are mountainous, so found mostly in Scotland and Wales. Could have put UK Birds but Great British Birds is a very awkward and old fashioned way of putting things
