I also own an ocarina, although it rarely makes it out of my 'musical stuff' bag. How long have been playing? I think I'd be so rusty now I'd barely be able to play!

We've all got to start somewhere. I was bought mine by my parents years ago, and it came with a book with some tunes written in tab, which made it much easier than trying to learn to read music. Now all I play are tunes from Zelda and stuff. I should learn some *real* music on it one day, but life just gets in the way.

Mine is a six hole as well. It's only a plastic one as I figured I would break a clay one, but it makes a nice enough sound as long as you don't blow too hard. I found that because I play the clarinet as well I initially wanted to blow quite hard, and of course that just makes it squeak.
