Hi there A
I've been given the priviledge of polishing your piece for inclusion in the UnderGuide. If you have anything to add or more ideas I'm working on it here A4326509
Let me know when you think it's finished.
Hope all is well in Silly-land
Frood.

Hi Frood
I'm honoured to have had this piece chosen for the Underguide
Even better that you're editing it - that's great
It's been a lovely day here on the islands but clouding over a little now ... rain for tonight I think.
Have some

To be honest, there's very little editing to be done, just added what I thought were some pertinent links. If you think of anything else let me know.
Not sure how long it will be until it hits the FrontPage though, may be a few weeks, the influx of brilliant work to the UnderGuide has been almost gargantuan. I'm avalanched under a landslide of writing!
It's thunder and lightning here for sure soon, had a few days of heat. Ah, I love forked storms
All the best.

Glad to hear that there's been an avalanche of good writing recently for the Underguide
I'll be patient
We had heat and thunderstorms at the beginning of the week but it's much cooler now. I like storms too We have such a lot of sky and horizon here on the islands that lightning can be really all-encompassing.
By the way, I did spot a edit required in my piece -
"The turquoise-green boat came into view, her white wake streaming out behind it on the calm sea, and her skipper skilfully approached the quay."
- should really have the 'it' replaced by 'her', the comma removed and the 'and' replaced by 'as'
"The turquoise-green boat came into view, her white wake streaming out behind her on the calm sea as her skipper skilfully approached the quay."
Does that make sense?
Hope you had a great weekend

Thanks Frood
Couple more links if you think they would be helpful.

Will add those, love the ISNT
(UnderGuide Entries can have just about any good link, as long as you are pretty sure it's a stable one...broken links are the bane of my existence )

When you think it's all okay (because I think I've done all I can!) let me know and I'll send it off for final approval

Hi Frood,
The ISNT is great, isn't it?
Well, they've been 'live' since I put them on my Open University T171 website in 2001 so I hope they'll be there for a while yet.
Dead links can be SOOOO frustrating!

I've added another link "George's Autistic Spectrum Disorder" need Adobe to open it though. Do you think it's appropriate?
And I don't know what I've let myself in for with this UnderGuide
You interested in volunteering for Mining for the UnderGuide? I believe there's a recruitment drive soon
More information about mining can be found here A4188819 and here A4204117
Think you might enjoy it

Hi Frood,
I'd like to be a Miner or a Gem Polisher but, to be perfectly honest, I have so much on my plate at the moment that I don't think I could do it justice. Sorry
The .pdf link is fine but I have to admit that I'm biased. Acrobat crashes my computer almost every time I open it. This can be extremely frustrating if I'm using Firefox and have half a dozen tabs open - I lose the lot
But that's just my personal preference ...

I'll take it out then If yourds crashes other peoples might, so best leave it off.
If you ever find time to devote to the UNderGuide, let us know though!

Hello there A! Sorry haven't had time to say hi for a while. Had a dental abcess and work has swamped me too. Hope all is well for you and yours
I'm dropping a line to ask you a question. The National Autistic Society is planning a 'fun day out for families' in Leicester Square, central London, on 25 September 2005, and I wondered if you'd consider having your Entry highlighted on the Front Page through the UnderGuide on that weekend? Or perhaps the weekend before?
The thing is, it's all ready to go and could be put to the Front Page sooner Let me kow if you'd like your name in the brightlights sooner rather than later.
Frood.

Hi Frood,
Oh, I sympathise with your dental abcess - I had to have root canal surgery last week and it's still a bit tender despite antibiotics and painkillers Apart from that, we are all fine here on the islands
I don't mind my piece being 'held' for the Front Page until September if you want to tie in it with the NAS 'Fun Day'. That's fine by me
I'll be patient
