My life changed immeasurably after I joined h2.
You stretched out and offered me friendship here before anyone else, when I was too nervous to talk and too traumatised to cope. As a consequence you led me to someone who led me to someone who led me to someone who led me to the beautiful, passionate and loving woman now my fiance, and who has given me the happiness I had been hopeless without for so long.
Just in case you still felt your contribution to the site was wasted; it wasn't, as far as my life is concerned.

Chris, thank you for letting me know. You are so right, things ripple out and out and out without our knowing. I feel awed and humbled that something I did should have led you step by step to such a much better space.
I don't feel my time here was wasted. I enjoyed it, and h2g2 has made a huge difference to my life, and brought me several dear friends.
