Just saw the latest addition to your nick. smiley - hugsmiley - towel

I know, smileys don't cut it. And my earthlink is mysteriously unaccessible the past few days, or I'd have sent a private message.

For now, for here, just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you.

Love,

Britta

Don't worry, it is rather over-dramatic, but it does include a couple of puns. I am taking each day as it comes, but the days are happy ones. I *must* get over the habit of making bad puns!

I'm glad to hear that it was all in pun. smiley - biggrin

Now, what's the appropriate punishment for making a MoGgie worry, you punster? A cyber?

... looks like I spoke to soon.

This is not the place to go into details, but if you let me know which email addy to use, I'll try to drop you a line. I am ok - and in many respects I am well - but the writing is on the wall, I think.

Me too. smiley - cry It's all for the best I'm sure, but right now I don't know how, or why. Did Mars have something to do with it?

Ben, I'm planning a roadtrip, about 10-12 days of camping, photography, sightseeing and serendipity in mid October. Up the east coast to North Carolina, then looping back down through the mountains and the middle, southbound down Florida on the west coast. I'm gonna reconnect with my accordion and serenade the wilderness with polkas and ol' southern sing-along tunes. Do you still have that plane ticket? Wanna come? You don't have to listen to me torture the accordion. smiley - smiley

Oh, my dear. I am so sorry. I have at least stopped crying, and I have a reprieve of several months. But. But...

I am so sorry to hear about you.

The roadtrip sounds bliss. My mind says 'f**k-it all - do it!', but I have no money and no income, and in October I will have my PL's son staying with me. It is the no money thing which is the clincher though.

Bugger it all to hell.

I read both versions of Epping Forest. I preferred the title Life and Death... but I thought the other version worked better. It seemed to lead up to it, built an atmosphere which wasn't the same in the other. I liked the feel of the forest itself, kinda a timeless thing, gave me a sense of the cycle of growth and decay and the way they are both necessary, natural components of life. And then, at the end, with the paranthetical bit... that was like a news flash of sorts. I loved it that way because...ummmm... because nature still carries on, and human vileness, and tragedy and concerns are just a part of the whole.

Still thinking, honey.

Pros are that it would be a break, that I would get to see you, that it is something I want to do, that it would give me a grounding in being me which I will need for the future.

Cons are that it would be time away from Europe when there is a lot going on in Europe for me, that if I am working I probably won't be able to take time off, and that I really do have no cash, (though I appreciate what you are saying, and am very grateful for the suggestion).

There is so much unstability, and so much to be negotiated and discussed with my PL, that I am in overload at the moment.

Assume that I won't, but that I may change my mind.

Love

B

Is the puff of blue smoke due to emotional overload? smiley - hug

I shall make my non-plan to be on this mission alone, and will leave plenty of space just in case you suddenly appear in a puff of fuchsia smoke. That *is* how we goddesses travel, isn't it? smiley - winkeye

Take care of yourself, Ben. If you need an 'ear' just email. I find it helps to write things down sometimes. I do it on my journal here, mostly, and then, after I've organized my thoughts I chant on it. Poor souls who accidentally happen across that muck! smiley - laugh I wonder what the BBC would think if it knew that it has a streamer of essence of MoG running through it's veins. smiley - smiley
