I feel like a bit of an anachronism myself...
A792137 - I'd like to use it on wikipedia - under the GFDL. That basically means that anyone can edit it, but their modified versions have to also be released under the GFDL. Plus I'll add a link back to your original at A753806.
Yeay? Nay?

Hmmm. So much of it is mine. Does Wikipedia work with pseudonyms or real names? I want to think about this, I am not agin it, but not yet wildly enthusiasitic either.

Wikipedia works with real names and pseudonyms, as and when. Generally the attribution footers tend to use real names, but I don't think that's a hard and fast rule - just convention.
Here's the attribution footer I was planning on using, though I'm happy to change it around if you'd prefer to be credited with your real name, etc:

I (_Martin_) am the co-author with "A girl called Ben" of the _corresponding_article_ on h2g2. Both Ben and I agree to licence this joint article under the GFDL. Please note that an _earlier_version_ of this article on h2g2, created solely by "A girl called Ben", contains additional material not in this article, and this earlier version is not licensed under the GFDL.

You can see it with proper markup here:

What else might you want to know? Stuff under the GFDL *can* be used for commercial purposes, provided they stick to the terms like everyone else. My understanding of the GFDL is that the kind of attibution notice I would add would have a minimum expiry time of four years, but I'm not a lawyer, so I can't be 100% sure. Wikipedia is shortly to become a formal non-profit organisation.

If you're in any doubt, which sounds like it's the case, I won't put the article on wikipedia. After all, I've got it published here on h2g2, so I've already got my five minutes of fame

I am not in doubt - I just wanted more information, and to think it over.
I am perfectly happy with what you are proposing to do and the way in which you are proposing to do it, and I am flattered that you would want to.
Thanks for asking.

Probably not. My private life is a little complicated right now.
