Sorry not to respond, (gasp - you only gave me 30 minutes or so!) I have been online but doing other stuff (sorting my Outlook Address Book for my Christmas card labels - how smug am I?)

I LOVED the way you attended the Glasgow Meet; it would have been even better if you could have been there in person. I have never had a duff night out in Glasgow.

Sorry to seem so impatient--it's just that no one that I could see on the 'Who's Onlline' list was answering anything I sent... And since I'm *never* up this late, I was wanting to talk to someone (during the week I have to go to bed at 10 to get up at 5.30)(Oh, it's almost 2 am here in California)(See why I can't make UK meets?) I'm not feelling tired enoough to go to bed, for some strange reason, but I'm not sure my brain is awake... *feeble attempt to excuse incoherent babbling...*

How'd the paint get in your hair?

My housemate is moving out, and we have been painting her new place - an interactive experience!

Oh... I thought maybe you did pantings like I have--hair all over the place... (Never mind, I just realized your hair's not that long...)

*sigh* paintings, not pantings...

Well panting with hair all over the place is fun too!

We have just about finished painting her place, and the removal men will be here at 7.00 tomorrow morning. Yikes! (And me with blue hair, and all).

She moves out then, (I'll miss her a lot), and hopefully I will be moving on to my own place this month or next month. Bloody Christmas, everything switches off for 3 weeks.

So the 'Renting Accomodations' entry came out at just the right time, huh? Unlike the one about buying a car, which came out right after we bought ours... (But we did well, anyway)

Me again! I ended up staying up until 3 that morning... Probably tonight/this morning too, as I inadvertantly took a nap from 7 to 10 pm... (I thought the dryer buzzer would wake me up, and so didn't tell Tom to wake me up...) So how're you doing?

I am good - but very cold. I dont have central heating, and have to do with electric heating and a coal-burning stove. Feast or famine, so far as heating is concerned.

I start work on Monday for 3 days, then I am off till the New Year.

I'm fine... Starting to wonder when/if I'll get , but fine... Three days on, then over a week off... What's the job?

Its a 6 month contract, working with a previous boss. It should be interesting, and hopefully it will be fun. Some European travel, which is a plus.

So far, so good... I spent way too long here the morning of the first (stayed up *very* late posting...) and work's been, well, workful... Dead slow and boring, though... How's your year so far? And is the old bed completely worthless?
