Thankyou for personal e-mail. I admire anyone who is naturally kind to strangers. Mind you, there are several here who are even stranger than your friend Pengannel.
Greetings.

Oh there are definitely some strange kookies here. Some are nice strange, and some are - more irritating - shall we say. I am not always naturally kind to strangers. I have a deep antipathy to taxi drivers.
I won'd admit to being uncertain what Egregious means, though I will admit to not being sure how to pronounce it. Pengannel sounds deeply cornish, and so I think that there is probably no shame in asking you - what does it mean?
Thank you for dropping by.
Greetings.

Hello Ben,
PENGANNEL is a place name not really a personal name; means "house on the (estuary of) R.Gannel" where I live with my sweet wife Sarah, brilliant terrier dog Jack, numerous contented-looking tropical fish and presently with ancient Mother (walks with a bit of difficulty, intellect still bright and sharp) and grown-up daughter Helen, don't ask me how old she is, seems to have a birthday whenever she gets a bit short of money. Must be at least 500 years old.
EGREGIOUS chosen just because of its uncertain meaning. An unusual and twisty-slippery sort of word, sometimes used to suggest out-of-the-ordinary and apart from the common herd, even a bit superior; sometimes means notorious, louche, nasty - in fact pretty basic Earth-human in its different aspects. On reflection I begin to wish I'd picked some other name instead: "The Adorable.." "The Desirable.."
Nice to talk with you. Pengannel (The Huer.)
Greetings.

Egregious sounds like my sort of word, in that case!
Key: Complain about this post
Greetings.
