Just read your PS. I could have written it, or something very similar.

Plus ca change, etc.

Funny when someone thinks you're someone else, isn't it?

Funny how it's hard to prove you're not, isn't it?

(Wouldn't it be funny if someone thought this message was an elaborate ploy by a single person operating both your and my account, to make it look like we are in fact separate people? Except by posting this, I'd have blown the gaff... except this could be a double bluff... are you SURE you're not me?)

There are a lot of 'important people' of the site who have known me for the 7 plus years I have been around. And more than half will also have known (or known of) you from well before my appearance. Still, there will be some with very limited imagination who begin to assume that anyone that is not with them, agreeing with them, or perhaps even one of them (internalized?) Yeah, we are all one and the same.

Not long ago, a pair who really should have known better were picking a dozen researcher names from a big hat, and ascribing them to me as sock-puppets. It's what some do.

But the recent note, it did make me grin a little...

(slips away to see which account this is written under, ... yep, I think it's okay ...)

Some days, with the clarity of your explanations, I think that you ought to be a teacher. But then there are two problems with that ...

The usual is the old expression about "those who can, do ..."

The other problem is the same one that I would encounter. There will always be a dullard in the class who misses simple physics, no matter how many ways you explain interactions. And eventually, you would be left with no choice but to slay them in a particularly gruesome but satisfying fashion. smiley - biggrin

Except for minor things like an Atlantic Sea, ... and skills with language and debate factored around 70X times ... Nope, I don't think so. smiley - winkeye
