Hello, I'm a 19 year-old girl and I'm a self-taught intellectual. The reason so is that I've become sceptical of education which is an establishment run by a currently capitalist society in my country, England. I speak fluent French and started to learn other languages.I thought that learning some of the supposedly hardest to learn languages would then make learning other languages easier. I dropped out from the idea of going into media and the arts simply because creativity cannot by tamed and giving a wild animal boarders will only make it tire.
Courses were never meant to be made on the arts as it only it can only be dissected and analysed. Inspiration only comes from when it is not my life long job but still is as equally important. After all work is only work. As Mark twain said; "Do not let your creativity get in the way of education". I look at this backwards mostly. I keep a blog and I also spend my time writing fiction.
The common stereotype is that beauty contradicts intelligence and having a good figure would mean I am small minded. Or being plain and possibly fat would result in all the beauty going to the mind only. However I've been told many times I should be a model but when I talk about political, scientific or philosophical matters I find the person in conversation with
always appears shocked or in disbelief. Usually resulting in males I know to be offended that my "so called pretty face" couldn't, shouldn't and wouldn't ever voice such explicit terminology to their face. They say act like a lady and think like a man.
