Yep sure do, but am looking for something else to be honest,if christmas wasnt coming up id of left by now.
Yep that account still up an running, i'm like a little computer geek now Plus i can access the net for free via my mobile now so im never actually off it now even in work hehe Although i'm not going to hammer it at home like i used to cos busy most nights job hunting Got asked for an interview for an assistant manager the other day, but had to refuse cos the hours werent enough.
I've bought me mums car from her so am mobile now which is scary at the moment its just work an back
How is everything with you?
Hiya....
BMT Posted Nov 8, 2010
Good news about the car. Take your time, confidence will build as you get more proficient.
I have internet available via my mobile but I don't use it, I'm wary about how secure mobile connections are, I certainly don't do anything that requires a password being entered on them.
I'm ok'ish, still on buckets of meds, no sign of any surgical intervention yet that'll sort things. My days are still either bad, very bad are just plain awful.
Its good you're still in work though, well done you.

R its a shame they can't sort something out for you mate
Gotta be in work, with the insurance price for the car But its worth it with the freedom it brings!

Yeah, thats one of the drawbacks of being a young driver, you tend to get hammered. My advice is the same for anyone in that position, go steady, avoid booze, avoid having boozy mates on board, (distraction factor) and you'll soon build a no claims bonus and start getting cheaper premiums.
We'll have to get you to the next meet now you're mobile.
Hows the pooch?
Hiya....
littlemightyblue Posted Nov 8, 2010
Well i've not had a drink since i passed So even my liver is healthier
Pooch is good, did i mention she'd had a hystorectomy? The vet advised it after her second phantom pregnacy, i had to take the week off work to be with with her after the op But shes fine now, actually has a new lease of life to be honest!

Thats good to hear, she's a lovely pooch. Glad she's fit and well. I take it mum and dad are ok, enjoying their new roles?

To be honest they are both finding it alot harder than they expected as they have also got a degree to compleate while training! They should be fine tho.
So whats all these changes coming up in the site, just a re vamp?
Hiya....
BMT Posted Nov 8, 2010
The site is about to be given a whole new look in order to bring it in line with the rest of the BBC sites/message boards etc. We still get to keep the features that are unique to hootoo, (at least, most of them) but we will lose all the skins currently in use. We recently had a 'site mot' by the hierarchy and we passed that especially in light of cut backs. The Radio 2 boards have all gone completely, as have a lot of other message boards. The formats have changed on all of them that remain. Your BBC id/sign in details work across the whole of the BBC network now so there won't be any further changes there.
This link shows a sample of how things may look.

The above is just the front page as an example.

Bet the change will ruffle a few feathers! How come the radio 2 one went?
Hiya....
BMT Posted Nov 10, 2010
As part of cutbacks and streamlining the beeb had to reduce some of its online content so a lot of message boards went and other cuts across the whole of the beebs sites. It was one of the reasons we went through an 'MOT' to ensure we were worth keeping on. Glad to say we passed hence the go ahead for the revamp here soon.

Here's a link to the beta version of the new site.

The beta went up today, still some work to do before it goes live.

It looks really good, lot easier to navigate and you can have a personal profile picture now as well. They've still got work to do, iron out glitches but all in all, there's been a massive thumbs up from everyone.
Not that much has changed in terms of what's gone on here while you've been gone. We all plod on doing our bit for the Guide and have our usual nutty chats.
Key: Complain about this post
