Ah sh*t. The only thing that will help is time. It's a cliche, I know, but it's the only thing that helped me. Admittedly it took months. Still hurts now, a year on. But it gets better. Gradually. If there's no hope, you have to try and move on, even if you want to wallow. I tried that. Just made me miserable!

I suppose. I do apologise if I've offended. I'm afraid I took it as a comfort when people told me that; I wasn't the only one. But everyone is different and responds differently to situatiuon. I can only tell of my own experience, and if it doesn't match up to yours, then, well, I don't quite know what to say!

I don't think in words, I think in pictures, shapes, colours. It makes gettingwhat you feel across very difficult sometimes. Do you think like that too?

Yes. I can usually tell when i'm extremly depressed becuase i can't write or play guitar.

Yup. The music just doesn't come. I always find that I can have a particular song to sing or play (Irish Tune from County Derry, for me) can help. And if I can bring myself just to hum that, it helps to heal. Works for me, anyway.
