I really must find something else to send with the balm I got for yer missus's feets. Any requests?
No worries about unsubbing from my catchphrase journal- so did I, and partly because I don't get to watch all of the programs in question. Also in part because I don't believe there's an agenda behind making anything that ain't any big deal seem normal. But I digress...
My dad's in town! First time we've seen him since my mom died.

I really can't think of anything else. Is Chi-town known for any particular sweet or savoury things? Herself has a sweet tooth, and I do like the 'tart' stuff.
(NO, Moderators, I am not talking of 'tarts' ... )
BTW, I had a post today, casually nattering with Hellelou. No e-mails yet, and neither of us could figure the why-for or how-come.
As to the thread, well, Hoo did kinda hijack it so it seemed best to say good-night to it politely.

I don't mind it being "hijacked" if they want to continue the debate- I'm glad I could initiate it.
Sweet or savory tings... we do have a candy manufacturer or two, I'll tap K's brain too and see what Chicago area stuff he thinks would be neat (if any) and we can add those.
Hellelou and you were ed?!?! What's this world coming to?

Neither of us can understand it either, so I have sent a querying note to the Eds. It simply was saying that not much has changed here since last I spoke with her. And then linked her to my vacation journal and that of Venus from when she visited us last year

I have since been bluntly told that my e-mail had nothing to do with it
I'm passively thinking of keeping a log, if such random stuff is going to begin again.

Weird.
We'd best discuss off hootoo if we're going to discuss further. The Underlines are everywhere.

Some imaginations are far more dangerous to themselves than reality.
Nawww, if stuff goes silly again, that ain't a bother to me. I have wires, and this one isn't such a big deal.
How's the things with the house shoppings, any good ones in perspective?

Perhaps- I'll post when I get to the office about yesterday's viewing. We love the place, though there are things to talk about and we'll need to visit at least once or twice more. Fingers crossed no one else buys it in the meantime- it was listed in January then removed and re-listed a few months ago, so we might be in the clear long enough to research & think this one over...

I sent an e-mail with concerns and ideas. ...
And yet, either I am too old and forgetful or you have not said ... What might I send south of the border as a treat or gift? Something sorta unique to please your tastes?
Hiya!
psychocandy-moderation team leader Posted Sep 20, 2010
Thanks for that email, and for the one last night.
I honestly can't think of anything to ask for! Which is slightly less embarrassing as not knowing what else to send...

Rev Nick Posted Sep 20, 2010
Then I'll have to try to think of something or other ... Just don't blame me if my taste proves terrible.
And you do have my gentlest thoughts about the loss of a good friend, dear
Hiya!

Well, same goes for you. I'd wanted to send you WKRP but can't find it anywhere to record it.
Thanks for the kind thoughts- they mean a lot. You are a good friend, too, sir.
Hiya!
Rev Nick Posted Sep 20, 2010
I did find the WKRP once, some no-name recording outfit. The price was absurd to say the least ...
Someone in Ireland says pretty nice stuff this evening about you too.

Aw, would that be the lovely Aye Bee? To think before today I knew her in name and by hootoo postings only. She was kind enough to leave me a message on h2g2, and we exchanged a couple of emails today. I may have lost one very dear friend, but I think she'd be pleased to know that because of her I might have made another.

You couldn't do any better, this I can assure you. Two things you must be wary of:
If you find yourself in a finger poking match in the back-seat with her sons, you ALL bear the threat of eviction at the road-side
And she makes a damned fine lasagne, while having one of the most well-stocked and esoteric liquor cabinets I have ever seen!
Oh, and you never know who might drop by for dinner out ... Beatrice and Dai showed up one evening ....
