Saw that you're subscribed to my journal, said smiley - huh, and swung by...

Hm... Ft. Worth, and leather masks...

Could you be someone I know elsewhere whose name starts with a J?

If it's just a *huge* coincidence, have a mufflewhump anyway!smiley - winkeye

Nope, 'tis me, Jen herself. Thanks for the mufflewhump... it'll keep me warm down here. We're having our first freeze of the year... not unpleasant, but it makes me wish I had a fireplace.

Yeah, I was noticing the new upgrades to the system, and trying to figure out what the eyeballs meant, when I discovered the new friends system. I'm not sure what features it adds to my browsing, but I think it's cool that I can have a list of people I can regularly visit... or at least read their journals.

So, I hear you're preggers! Congrats! Is it still a smudge, or does it have a shape yet? Wow... I wish you lots of luck, but I know you'll do fine.

See you later! - Jen

Code, huh? I did the page source thing, but I'm not versed in html code - and I never have figured out how to do the pull-down in Guide ML. (Never have time!) Still, that's very cool.

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving! - Jen

Just put testuser180656 up in the address bar thingy (unless of course it turns into a link here automatically--I don't remember, and am not going to bother previewing) and you can snag code from me to your heart's contentsmiley - winkeye

My Thanksgiving was pretty good--fed 11 peoplesmiley - yikes

Hm... are you using Netscape or Exploder? I can view the page code (and what a tangled mess it is!) in Netscape, but the testuser/180656 gives me text only (Brunel). Ah, well... I'll play with it later.

Eleven people, huh? Eeek! I didn't have to feed anybody, really; just showed up at my mom-in-law's with a bowl of green beans in one hand and some sweet potato stuff in the other. Tried out a new recipe, which is always scary - bourbon sweet potatoes, made with Jack Daniels, sugar and pecans. It tasted pretty good, but the oven wasn't working right, so it was too squishy. Argh. I love to cook, but my kitchen sucks big time.

That Cthulhu mask is pretty popular - I check the outside links regularly on Yahoo, and several people have linked to that picture. Yay!

Of course, soon after I posted here, the conversation moved on, so it's rather pointless for me to ask for the link, or to send you over with the linksmiley - winkeye

Tis all right... You know Dreadful put a link to my site on the LARPers website, and I think I've already sold one mask, maybe two through that link!

I never could really work well in 3D--can't seem to get my mind to work in the round. Could possibly have to do with the fact that I don't seem to really have stereoscopic vision--I'm one of those folks that always gets 2 images when looking through binoculars, unless I close 1 eye.

I have the same problem - I can never get those magic 3-d things to work. I guess my eyes don't focus properly!

I see you're thinking of movingsmiley - bigeyes I know an absolutely beautiful areasmiley - winkeye Unfortunately, there ain't squat here, workwise. Arcata or Eureka would be good, arts-wise, but much farther south than that wouldn't be northwest.

Faith just came up, and quizzed me on who I was talking to, so I don't remember what else I was going to say... Faith says hi.

Hi, Faith!

Yeah, I keep talking about moving, but the work is here, and the cost of living is low... It gets harder and harder to put up with the heat. Our yard looks like a nuclear bomb went off - the ground is blasted and brown. Fortunately the trees are still alive!
