HYPOCRITES
Its about the way people behave, how they conduct and carry themselves.Their characteristics, jealousies,etc.
I work with a bunch of very hypocritical characters. They put on a facade of friendliness but will quickly stab you in the back in the nick of a second. I am trying to keep out of it, but its difficult. Some of the things they do and say are rude and hurtful but presented like jokes which I don't buy. I work in a political office which makes it worse as everyone is vying for favours and seeks entrenchment as there are many "perks" and benefits. To add salt to injury, they will blantantly refuse to carryout their duties and no disciplinary action can be taken (Godfathers in high places). I have no idea how to handle this situation.
