I bought a camera yesterday...but the software for the stupid thing refused to load, because I don't have IE on my computer! And won't...

Hi!
What's the plan now then? Hopefully you can get it sorted out.
I have this great photograph of me as a child. I'd love to send it to you. What do you think?

I loaded the software at w**k, and will pester HP for a stand-alone software package for home. The snaps I took look pretty good.
I'd like to see your photo, but I don't know if I can reciprocate.
I might have something in storage...

I'm lazy this evening...
Is the story you mentioned available here? I tried the search, and it hung on me.
I hope your situation with the helicopter company works for you.
I've been idle with the writing lately, but I expect to be bored with not writing before too many more days pass.
As far as the Sacramento pictures go, there's little chance of not including trees in the picture. Looking across the residential areas from a modest height, it's hard to see the houses' roofs because the trees are in the way. T Street probably epitomizes this local love of trees in the landscaping. The city has an official arboretum which supposedly has representatives of most of the world's species.

Hi
It's the story called Christmas magic. You can come over into my space to read it. There's no need to search it. It's listed in my entries.
I haven't written much either, but I am thinking about what I could write next.....

I don't know what the necessary lead time is for publishing, but it's a perfect Christmas story.
I always wondered how the store Santas are affected by their role. Here is a good one...

Thanks
Finding the right market is the problem. I'm not holding out my hopes that the other two publishers will want it either, but I'll never know unless I give it a try.
Well off to work for me soon.
Talk to you later
Pauline

Wow! I must have been too speedy tonight. They ran out of work - so I was able to leave early. More days like this please!

Please don't exhaust yourself...
It's been a warm day, still in the 90s, but with the sun setting earlier, it gets cooler faster. The foliage hasn't started to turn yet. I think I'll continue with a snippet or two of the kid's story...

Hello Steven
How are you? Have you taken any more photographs?
I wanted to send you some more music tracks, but the freeware has expired.

Hi Pauline
I had planned to get a spectacular long-shot of Sacramento's high-rises in the sunrise, but I was running late, and distracted, so I forgot my camera. Tomorrow, though. It's likely that the weather will co-operate.
How was your weekend? I was busy writing....
And how's your w**k? You seem very positive about it.
I hate it when freeware expires. There used to be a website which specialises in 'cracks', which override certain restrictions on an extensive catalogue of freeware. The 'Central Scrutinizer' probably has that site under surveillance now, so....

Hi
I expect the central scrutinizer has me under surveillance!
How's u? I saw that Hayley Westenra has just released a new CD called Odyssey. I went to buy it this evening, but it wasn't available. I bought James Blunt instead because there are at least 2 tracks on his CD that I really like. I'll buy Hayley's another day.

I haven't bought any new music for a few years now...the local shop went belly-up, and I don't have much inclination to commute to one of the bigger emporiums. There's a shop in Sackamenna (Sacramento) specialising in vinyl, that has a good catalogue of CDs.

Hello Steven,
Just in from work - and wanted to say hello. I was thinking about you on the way home.
Hope you're having a good day.

Xantief Posted Oct 6, 2005
And a splendid good evening to you!
I was too efficient at w**k yesterday, so nothing much is happening today, I'm just waiting for someone to break something, so I can fix it...
Sorry to hear about the cold weather...isn't there a word for people who can not tolerate cold? I'm one of them. I suppose that increasing my 'anti-freeze' level would help, but that would lead to other problems.
The bluejays and squirrels are in cahoots...they drop acorn debris directly on my head when I sit under the live oak at break-time. Oh well, at least they aren't pooping on my head....

Hi
You could always break a few things on behalf of the staff, and then repair them. That would keep you busy!
I don't mind the colder weather, but I'm not very fond of the damp mornings.
Hey, today is Friday!
