Grammatically Incorrect
Much to the irritation of most people who have ever spoken to me, I am quite aware of grammatical errors. Yet I find myself more and more frequently associating either with people who lack sufficient knowledge of grammar and punctuation to properly use the English language, or with people who don't care about grammar or punctuation enough to be correct. Most of these people enjoy use of the internet, where, it is said, grammar and punctuation go to die horribly, broken, abused, and sans serif.
Many people, I believe I can safely assume, are unaware of the peril in which grammar as we know it currently is. Those people require MLA handbooks.
Anyone who believes that the lack of grammatical correctness extends only through the cyber world should read the newspapers in my hometown. It is painful. Ouch.
The point is, I shall attempt to refrain from correcting anyone's grammar by posting angry messages, but I shall be screaming inside, and perhaps throwing things.
