I'm popping by as one of the assistant community editors here, or <./>aces</.>. We greet newbies such as yourself and help you get settled. To familiarize yourself with everything, carefully review my colleague Feisor's list of Hints and Links at A719840. Among the first things(ok, the second feature)you'll find are the assortment of <./>smileys</.>. But as you proceed down the list, you'll see that Much much more awaits discovery. Further down the list you'll encounter a link to our weekly newspaper <./>thepost</.> and you'll notice that it has a links page...a bit of a list within a list.

Examining that will reveal items such as the Researchers' Map at A5076614, the Regional Researchers' Groups at A660313, the worms Club at A745544 and-among a multiude of others-the Personal Space Workshop at A1123354. The Workshop might be useful as a supplement to Spicing Up Your User Page, which Feisor refers you to.
