Greetings James, and welcome to this, the world of H2G2.
As an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) it is my job in this great place to rush around greeting new bods who haven't yet been greeted, and indeed re-greeting older bods who already have been greeted to let them all feel at home. We merry band of individuals can answer any questions you may have with regard to the guide, can point you in the right direction if you get lost, the wrong direction if you're pootling along nicely, and anything else should you so wish.
There are no end of oddities that can be found scooting around most of the fora here. Some of them are best left alone cos they bite, and others are merely insane.
