My introduction
Well, my mid-life crisis led me to start a new life in N Cyprus. I wanted to live in a third world country and return to a simpler life. Politics aside, and this takes up about 80% of our lives here unless you are strong enough to perceive it for what it is, the nature I observe on these walks is a reviver and brings me back to first principles. I have two medium sized dogs and a tiny traditional Cypriot house in town, so I have to take them for walks twice a day in the mountains which are 5 - 10 minutes' drive away. Although this routine is a hassle, it also lifts me out of myself to observe differences from year to year - hence my query about the cicadas. Is that enough of an introduction? Well, it's all you'
