h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Dear all,

I am trying to come up with a few idears to make the Musician's Guild a much more interesting place.

The first is to try and get hold of "real" musicians and invite them to answer 20 questions put forward by Guild members. This could be ANY musician, as long as they earn their crust through their own performances.

The second was not to limit the guild to cyberspace. If anyone performs on a regular basis, they could post a list of places and dates that other members could go to watch and listen.

Lastly that could open up the possibilities of reviewing such events - or anything musical that you enjoy, a CD, an instrument, a band.

Let me know what you think - this could be BIIIIIGGGGG.

Yes - happy to encourage more interaction & participation ... I'll get thinking for some other ideas. Keep me posted on how it goes.

What a star you are thanks for volunteering. Do you know any professional musicians - prefferably famous ones?

No. I've been to a few workshops and master classes, but only as one of many ... don't know the "famous" well, sorry. I know one or two well enough to ask a couple of technical questions ... that's about it.

That would be fine, I think the ball has started rolling!!

When I said "Know" I think "Have access to" would have been better.
