Just poping in to say hello.
Sorry, we missed each other yesterday at Room No 5 - maybe the next time, eh?
It seems that you like classical music. Mozart, Vivaldi, what about Debussy and Händel? And what do you think about opera?

Hi. Welcome.
Ah, well - my character's style is as good as his timing!
To a chap who's had too much to drink,
A nod is as good as a wink,
But he'd better not be too, too horrid, or
He'll find himself out in the corridor
I like most composers and types of music. Debussy I have a lot of trouble playing (my fault, not his), so I prefer Ravel from that time & place.
Opera I'm OK with until we get to Wagner, at whcih point I tend to tune out after the overture 'cos I've already heard the best bits ... but a nice light Mozart opera .... Ah!
See you around - I shan't be at the Manor much until the early hours of Monday morning (RW calls - yech ;-( )

Hey, is this a limerick? Nevermind - I like this.
As for the music - do I understand you right, that you are playing a piano ?! I envy you; I once started to learn it, but my teacher was a real bitch, so I changed to sing in a chorus - mezzo soprano.
Wagner: I don't like him at all, he is too pathetic and heavy as for my taste.
I like Bizet and Rossini - it was fun to sing it. As the chorus I mentioned above, was settled in Warsaw's Opera House; it was a scout chorus, but our boss was a soloist, so we sang also in the operas - it was fun (and also my first earned money)

Kasia,
English poetry is strange. FYI, not, that wasn't a Limerick (they have 5 lines; lines 1,2 and 5 rhyme, lines 3 & 4 rhyme).
My effort was just a 4-line pair of couplets.
Yes, I play piano - as much as my time allows (never enough). Well done with your singing - the first "paid" engagement is always exciting.
So do I deduce that you live in Warsaw? Though I visited a few places in Eatern Europe, unfortunately I never got there.
