Who is John Redbear ?
I am a simple person in manner of dress and in desire for material acquisition. I am middle age. I have one wife who is my hunters star. I am curiouse about my world and the worlds that encompass mine. I am curiouse about others. I have strong emotions moderated by my culture and my mind. I make my heart obey my mind and my mind listen to my heart. The two are in union so I am not just an animal and not just a rational being.I beleive that truth is proven in the mind but informed by the heart. I have raised eight chidren. All of them are happy and are ethical people. I have 11 grandchildren and will have more as the years progress. I believe in a creator that responds to the attention of his creatures. I believe that this creator cares about his worlds as a gardener cares for his or her garden. I believe that the creator is not male nor is the creator female nor is the creator a combination of the two in some manner of grotesque union, but the creator has attributes wich we would call femminine and masculine. The creator manifests in any way that is proper for the purposes of bringing harmony to creation as a whole and to people as individuals. I know that many find it controversial but I believe that the creator has chosen to be revealed by a predominantly masculine manifestation of self. Therefore all having been said, I will in the future refer to the creator in that form of language that I am accustomed to, as He, Him, His etc. If this brings anyone discomfort then I ask you to give me the same measure of respect and tolerance that you ask for yourself from others. I will feel justified in responding in kind to any that communicate with me but will not debase myself in insults, and ad hominum attacks on my person in all of it's aspects. I may choose to simply ignore you but would prefer a respectful dialog so I may learn. I am willing to teach anyone that asks about Native American crafts and such. I am not 'computer literate'. I make many errors in spelling and grammar. I do not have much education, only up to grade 10, (US).That is all.Latest Messages
