The world was barren Rock, the Earth lay void
as It'oîchit'atkassa and It'oîchik’at'akassa
saw it from t'atkisshahikichaq in the heavens.
They mourned as the saw it, they wept
because they were the only Beings alive.
So they went down, they descended onto the Earth.
From It'oîchik’at'akassa's womb she took her seed and
laid it upon the ground, thus It'oîchit'atkassa took
too his seed and placed it on top of It'oîchik’at'akassa's.
And from the soil grew a mighty Flower, a splendid Lily.
Its Petals were white, and they shone each like a full moon.
thus they filled the darkness, they lifted the veil of shadows
so in this light danced It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa
though they sensed there was something wrong.
This time It'oîchik’at'akassa took strands of her hair
and created them into a raven, a great black raven.
and It'oichit'atkassa then breathed upon the still form
until it raised itself high into the heavens.
and It'oîchit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa
were content, their hearts were white.
for they danced in the light of the Lily
and the raven sung for them,
for in ancient days the raven's song was still sweet.
So they returned to t'atkisshahikichaq and dwelt there
ere woe and misery.
It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa went down to dance
in the light of the Lily when they rose from slee and to
listen to the song of the raven.
That song which traveled upon the aether of the Earth,
and thus it was heard, it was captured by dread beasts.
Demons born in the absence of light long in ancient days.
And they sought the spring of the sound,
long they searched, they traveled far.
so that when It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa
were resting on t'atkisshahikichaq,
they came to a light on upon the horizon,
they had arrived upon the sight of the lily.
though they stopped upon the edge of the radience
fearful to tread into the bright realm
for this they had not seen before.
so they gathered around its girth
they summoned their numbers to watched it.
thus they watched the Flower.
Until one beast stepped across the veil of light,
he entered the lucent kingdom.
He walked towards the flower and viewed it
first in terror of its brilliance
and then he gathered his courage and in an act of malice
he severed that Flower, he tore its glimmering petals.
Thus ceased the first most beautiful light,
the splendor of the moonlit Lily.
And so that Flower bled, it gushed out.
Thus from that blood rose the Lord of Dust.
He rose mightier than the sun
and more fierce.
His arrival heralded by his embryonic scream,
he cryed aloud his name.
So it rung like fourhundred souls wailing in pain.
And awoke It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa in panic
they heard the great scream, they awoke to terror.
and thus descended below to the Earth below.
So they saw there The lord of Dust,
resplendent in his armour.
His form stained blood red, his hair matted with gore.
He held a sword stained with gore,
and his hand clenched around a still beating heart.
He stood upon a mountain of the dead,
raised high on the corpses of the fell beasts.
Around him was an ocean of blood,
dark tides washed around that fleshy spire
and great crimson waves crashed around him.
Thus It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa
saw in terror the majesty of his form.
It'oichit'atkassa saw then that the Lily was not to be
seen, and he came to believe that this
warrior had destroyed the most perfect Lily.
and so he grew in anger until he charged up that
mountain of corpses and wrestled with the Lord of Dust.
They locked their bodies neither forgiving
nor mercy did the other show.
so for six nights and seven days they grappled
upon the face of the Earth,
and thus created the Mountains and the valleys
as they sought to pound, to smash.
To smear the other's flesh across the ground.
So on the seventh day the Lord of dust locked
It'oichit'atkassa upon the ground
and there gouged forth his right eye,
and so screamed out It'oichit'atkassa.
The Lord of Dust raised high his trophy, he celebrated his triumph.
Thus in that moment, It'oichit'atkassa too raised from the ground
and struck the left Eye from Lord of Dust.
So both Gods were humbled before each other, and ceased to fight.
And It'oichit'atkassa then took his eye and raised
it into the heavens and thus it became the sun,
and so the Lord of Dust too took his eye and raised
it into the heavens and thus it became the moon.
but the Lord of dust would not permit the moon to shine
while the sun did so, thus never was it in the sky
while the sun shined, but It'oichit'atkassa thus made
the stars to show ever that he was present.
So It'oichit'atkassa went back to t'atkisshahikichaq
and dwelt with It'oîchik’at'akassa.
And when she saw his mutilated form, his blood dripping face.
she wept, she cried from the t'atkisshahikichaq.
And gushed forth those tears upon the Earth,
thus for seven days she cried and it washed upon the world
and cleansed the mountain of flesh,
absolved the world of the bloody ocean.
Her tears became the oceans and the rivers, the lakes and and streams.
On the eighth day she stilled herself as It'oichit'atkassa's
face healed, the blood stopped dripping.
and so too did the raven appear to It'oichik'at'akassa
and she was content, though when again he sung
his voice was not sweet, his song was full of lament.
and never again would he sing so beautifuly
as he did in the dawn of his days.
The time came again when It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa
both wished to view objects of beauty.
And they viewed the World below which now had upon
its face the mountains and valleys, the oceans and rivers.
But still they longed for sight of the lily was more.
So It'oichik’at'akassa took her seed and spread
it across the world.
And again It'oichit'atkassa did take his seed and spread
it across the world,
thus from their union came the myriad of plants that grow
high into the heavens and creep along the ground
and too the animals that walk among the Earth,
and Fly in the sky and swim within its water were born.
so It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa
walked among the garden of the World to view the
most wonderous creatures they had made,
the most wonderous Blossoms that burst forth.
until they noticed when walking among a forest
of cherry blossoms, which shone
like a blanket of stars, a rotting corpse.
And ere it stood the Lord of Death.
His Form cloaked in shadow.
All in the cherry grove wilted,
the blossoms that shone like stars shriveled.
And It'oîchit'atkassa and It'oîchik’at'akassa
did wail and scream that their creations died.
And wondered at where this Lord arrived.
So he declared that he came from the first death, born from demon blood.
and ever would he seek to destroy
the works that lived, those that breathe.
And so It'oichit'atkassa declared that he would
always seek to create the living, to endure them to breathe,
until the ending of the world and all ere it.
So dwelt in the world death and rage.
but always It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa
worked to create and heal.

So it was decided in the halls of
t'atkisshahikichaq that it was time that
men should be be made, their forms created.
And so It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa
who ever dwelt in the lofty halls went down,
they descended to the green earth.
they entered a cavern and deep within they
crafted the shapes of man and women from the soil
and they had created thus man and women.
It'oichit'atkassa and It'oichik’at'akassa were pleased
and It'oichit'atkassa took his seed and blood
and imbued it, the form of man,
so It'oichik’at'akassa took her seed and blood
and imbued it, the form of women.
