Why thank you for the welcome!

It's very nice here, I like it!

Barnacles (i'm not sure which particular species) have the longest penis relative to body size in the entire animal kingdom.

If you think about it, it kinda makes sense: Baby barnacles float about until they find a sutable substrate to live their lives upon. Once they get there, they don't move. So... how do they get their sweet loving? Mighty penises!

Was it what you were expecting?! smiley - winkeye

I wasn't expecting anything in particular, but that's got me to wondering. What's the sex life of a stuck-on barnacle like? Does it wait for a neighbor to settle down within penis-reach? Does it *tempt* neighbors by waving it's massive appendage? Does it rape random baby barnacles innocently floating by? Do barnacles come in his-n-hers varieties, or are they suited for self-gratification?

Be aware that *this* sort of thinking (about things that would otherwise never have crossed your mind) is what hootoo addiction will do to you. smiley - biggrin

Um... just off the top of my head,

smiley - schooloffish

Clown fish (as in finding nemo) are an example of sequential hermaphrodites, which means that they start one sex and turn into the other. In the clown fishes case it's protandrous hermaphoditism which means male to female.

Basically, each clown fish group defends an anemone as it's territory. Within the group there is a heirarchy based on size, and the biggest most dominant memeber of the group is the female. Below her are the males, who are all of different sizes... but smaller then the lady.

I assume that life just continues at this stage, until tragedy strikes and said big mama dies. After what I suspect is a rather brief moment of mourning, the biggest male in the group starts to change. I'm not sure how long it takes, but I imagine that its probably quite unpleasant. Anyway, his testies degenerate, and well... her ovarys get going. She's the boss now... long live the queen!

Soooo... that all means that in finding nemo, when his mum dies at the begining, his dad would actually turn into a lady fish... something disney never depicted. I wonder why?! smiley - huh

Taa Daa!!

I've just learnt something else about the hallowed barnicle fact...

Apparently, if a human was endowed to the same extent as a barnicle, his penis would be the size of Nelsons Column!
