Hi, Fragilis!

Having had a look at quite a few of your pictures on your space here, I have also come up with a picture of myself. That discussion of ours some MONTHS ago now, has done a little work on my braincells. So if you do want to see with whom you have been doing this little bit of datatransfer in the past, just pop round. smiley - smiley

Congratulations on your lack on anonymity, Engländer. I like your photo, as you seem to be in the middle of some interesting thought. I like the other picture on your page as well, and I don't remember seeing it before.

It's funny how things from months ago can turn around in your brain and finally pop out with results. I find this often happens for me with song lyrics. I rarely compose a song with lyrics in less than a year for this reason. It's a good thing I don't have any recording contracts to abide by!

Thanks for popping by again. How is the tavern going?

Glad you like the picture. That was one of the things still open, if you ask me. "How will she react? Gosh, doesn´t he look silly smiley - smiley"

I was thinking at the time I took the picture. I thought: "I hope this´ll turn out. How long will it take till my friend-wife-woman-phase-of-life-partner will come out of that furnitureshop?"

The pub hasn´t had a lot of visitors; it isn´t the Aroma café, you may say. I have been thinking about this question: How come some of the places at h2g2 are chockablock, and others noone ever evan notices? Just look at the FFFF forum. Not a peep out of a dickybird in weeks, and now: full blast comunications again.

I guess I do not know enough people around h2g2 yet, and it depends on the amount of time you invest in here. And I have quite a few other projects running. I have resumed reading quite a bit. We had found a super second hand bookshop in Amerika, and I am still 8 books away from finishing the stuff. And work is pretty consuming, as I have to get one of my chaps to find an aprentiship in the next week and so on and so on...

Got into rambling there. I am luckyly able to write with 10 fingers on the computer.

CU, Thanks for calling, reading - well, the whole lot. smiley - smiley

No, you don't look silly at all. You look intriguing. There is nothing quite like the look a man gets while he is waiting patiently for his lady to finish shopping. smiley - smiley

The busiest forums are very actively advertised at h2g2. They are diligently listed in community directories like the one at the bottom of the Quick Guide run by Redbeard: http://www.h2g2.com/A344756

And there's a community directory run by Colonel Sellers as well: http://www.h2g2.com/A270325

You can go over and ask the proprieters to add your pub to their listings. I'm sure they'd be happy to.

You might also consider locating your pub within one of the community realms at h2g2. Some examples include the h2g2 Space Center ( http://www.h2g2.com/A285653 ), the Waterworks and Beach ( http://www.h2g2.com/A208676 ), and the h2g2 Municipal Park ( http://www.h2g2.com/A325180 ). Get the page's editor to add your establishment to their list of places to go in the area. In some cases, these areas promote traffic from one spot to another. Please note that your application to move to an area may be denied if the editor feels you are not a good fit for their space.

Also, I've noticed that in the most hopping establishments the regulars or the owner are ACEs or a Guardian Angels. This puts them in the position to advertise their favorite venue when they greet newcomers. This sounds like it would be a ton of trouble for a busy person like yourself. But you can always post a note on the pub's page asking people to tell others where it is. Sometimes a little reminder does wonders. smiley - smiley

I hope that helps. In the meanwhile, good luck with all the books. I'm only reading 2 right now, so I guess I can't compare. smiley - winkeye
